Icaro Nerv Helmet & Orange Visor for Paragliding, Hang Gliding, Speedriding

Designed by Ignazio Bernardi, with the technical consultancy from the greatest Italian helmet developer, the Nerv has a very up to date look.

The 3 mm thickness polycarbonate shell has the advantage to be very light but still very strong.

The polystyrene is reinforced with one more layer of polycarbonate to succeed in the hard penetration test of the E.N. 966 certification.

Between the shell and the polystyrene there are 2 channels with holes for air drift.

You can open or close the entrance of the air into the helmet just with one hand and at the same time as you’re flying

3 internal paddings are adapted to the 3 sizes decided by the wheel regulator positioned at the back of the helmet. They are able to be replaced by larger or smaller padding pieces included the wheel regulator, thus varying the helmet size.

You just select your individual size of ICARO tailored inner helmet lining for a secure, perfectly comfortable head fit….

It can also be changed in moments in case a different size is needed.

The necessary advantage: you’ll easily get rid of the padding and replace it with a new one or just wash it.

The very soft cover ears are easily removable

The Nerv has been tested by the italian laboratory Newton an organization authorized by the Italian Ministry of Transport and recognized by the German TUV. 

All our helmets are designed especially totally free flight and micro light pilots, based on the European standards (EN 966).

Our helmets were designed and built specifically to be as light as imaginable. On the other hand they optimize safety for hang glider, paraglider and micro light pilots, as shown by the information above.
