Up for sale are Unsexed Red Shoulder Severum. We currently only have purchase options for unsexed fish. These fish are young and do not have the coloration of the pictured adult fish yet. These fish max out at about 8″. You must only buy these in case you have similar sized tank mates or a grow out tank for these. These fish are currently around 2″ OR LARGER.

The picture we now have is of a male Red Shoulder Severum from the same strain that we sell. We were under the impression that they were rotkeil sp., but ours have 9 stress bars and true rotkeils are known to have only 8 stress bars.

The Red Shoulder Severum is native to the Amazon Basin in South The united states. They’re a peaceful fish so that they can do well in a community tank setting.

IF YOU LIVE IN HAWAII, YOU MUST FIRST ACQUIRE A PERMIT TO IMPORT LIVESTOCK FROM YOUR STATE AGRICULTURAL DEPARTMENT. WE CANNOT SHIP LIVE FISH OR PLANTS TO YOU WITHOUT FIRST HAVING A COPY OF THIS PERMIT. ALSO, IF YOU LIVE IN PUERTO RICO, YOUR SHIPMENT WILL COME VIA USPS AND MAY TAKE 2 DAYS AS OPPOSED TO 1 DAY.

In the event that some or all your order arrives DOA, we ask that you send us a picture as soon as imaginable. Usually, we can then either provide you with a partial refund or some other shipment. We maintain these instances on a case by case basis, since They’re so rare.
